Values
Dignity We treat all people with dignity, displaying acceptance, kindness, and compassion.
Courage We are unrelenting in our service for the betterment of the individual, families, and society.
Belonging We facilitate interpersonal and community connectedness.
Prevention We believe it is better to build stronger children than to heal broken adults.
Security We believe safety and freedom from harm are human rights.
Transformation In spite of the hardship, given the opportunity, we believe that all young lives can realize their full potential, healing and purpose in the world.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering is the necessary foundation of our programs. Every single person is a volunteer. From our Directors, to our Admins, Mentors, and Camp Staff. Check out our volunteer opportunities below!
Royal Family KIDS Camp fosters resiliency, self-esteem, hope and positive memories. The camp curriculum and activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our children are experiencing truly life giving activities throughout the 5-day, overnight, experience.
Camp Directors:

The Royal Family KIDS mentoring program includes skills mastery, character building, and fun — plus individualized attention from trained adults who are effective role models. Research shows even one school year of commitment makes a difference—and children from the most difficult situations benefit the most from mentoring.

What Volunteers are Saying
“Volunteering with RFK puts life in perspective. It helps you to see the blessings in your life and to see how God deeply loves every child He has created..”
— Elizabeth
“When I signed up for camp the first year I honestly missed the part about all the kids being in foster care, until training. That was 7 years ago. I’ve never looked backed.”
— Nate
“I serve to bless the children, but I am the one who is blessed over and over again..”
