“RFKC gave me a 2nd home with people to love and people who loved me. When I was at camp during the summer I was comforted by mentors and people like me. Overall, RFKC let me know that everyone goes through something in their life and we shouldn’t ever be judged for it.”

Whew RFK has left a tremendously positive impact on my life and I love it so much. From allowing to me actually understand and feel what it’s like to be a kid, to having a choice and being able to make a decision in situations. Having a positive support group around me and doing stuff that I have never done before such as rock climbing, zip lining, fishing etc. I love RFK so much I came back to volunteer to give back to the kids and let them know I’ve been in their shoes and I know what it feels like. I want to let them know that being apart of this organization can help them. I am still in contact with my mentor from when I was a camper and it’s literally the best thing ever!”
